The ADR Cell at University School of Law & Legal Studies, GGSIPU successfully conducted an offline debate competition as well as a panel discussion through 20th to 21st May, 2022 at its Dwarka Campus. The debate competition took place among six participant teams on the 20th, where the participants debated over the topic “Judicial Intervention in ADR: A Boon or a Bane?” The competition was followed by a panel discussion on the 21st which provided insight into the topic of “Future of Online Dispute Resolution in the Indian Landscape”. The panel was graced by various luminaries in the field of ADR, including Ms. Iram Majid, Executive Director, Asia Pacific Centre for Arbitration and Mediation (APCAM), Ms. Shruti Sabharwal, Partner at Disputes Resolution Team, Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas and Mr. Devashish Bharuka, Advocate-On-Record, Supreme Court of India. The two – day event was organised under the leadership of Prof. AP Singh, Dean USLLS, and Professor Dr. Vandana Singh & Professor Dr. Zubair Ahmed Khan as faculty coordinators.
